Four Legged Family Members of Noe Valley

Johnny and Chip

Meet Johnny and Chip. Like many of our furry friends, the boys have had multiple homes throughout their lives. They ended up in a loving family in Noe Valley. The boys sat down last week to tell us a little bit about themselves.

How did you meet your people, Jenny and Kevin?
Johnny: When they came to Animal Care and Control (ACC) in the Mission, I just knew they were meant for me. I put on my best “love me” face and gave them my best smile. I am pretty sure they fell in love at first sight, as did I.
Chip: It was a friend of a friend who introduced us. From the moment we met, I knew we would be great friends but never imagined what would come next.

How did you two end-up in Noe Valley?
Johnny: I decided that Jenny and Kevin were perfect for me. Since they live in Noe Valley, I moved here to be with them.
Chip: My previous people had to move away and couldn’t take me with them. It was a very hard time for all of us. Thankfully, Jenny and Kevin were there to help me though a rough time in my life. Even though I miss my other people sometimes, I am really happy to be a part of this family now.

What is your favorite route around the neighborhood when you take Jenny or Kevin on a walk?
Johnny: I just love walking down 24th street from Church all the way to Diamond. Since I am such a social butterfly, the busier the day, the better. People are always so nice and happy to stop and chat with you, it’s a really special place.
Chip: I am different from Johnny, more introverted. I like to walk on the less busy streets where we run in to just a few good friends and get some quality sniff time for the rest of the walk.

If you could meet any famous dog, who would it be?
Johnny: It would have to be Scooby Doo. He is the nicest guy and just loves everyone and wants everyone to love him too. Plus, he is always eating or hoping to eat snacks so we have a lot in common.
Chip: Eddie from Fraiser, paws down. He is the smartest guy and knows so much about the world, it would be so cool to sit down over a bowl of water and pick his brain about so many topics.
